New research including a Mayo Clinic study reveals more evidence against cortisone injections…
A Mayo Clinic study recommend against commonly used treatments for arthritis including cortisone injections, arthroscopy and rooster comb hyaluronic acid injections. Even ONE CORTISONE INJECTION in the hip showed a marked narrowing of joint space in 33 of 34 patients (97%) and nearly one-third of patients were bone on bone after only 6-months! For these reasons, Dr. Kramer does not recommend even one cortisone injection into a joint.
