I was seen for left knee pain. An MRI scan showed osteoarthritic changes in the patellofemoral joint and median compartment, and tearing of the medial meniscus with peripheral displacement, and a Baker’s cyst. I began having pain three months before being seen for anterior and posterior knee pain. I would have pain with squatting and sharp pain at extremes of flexion. I had a previous degenerative meniscal tear that responded well to Prolotherapy.
After four Prolotherapy treatments I had no pain and only had some stiffness after prolonged sitting or first thing in the morning. My pain went down from 6/10 in severity to 1/10, and was brief pain. I am quite pleased with my progress.
I recommend Prolotherapy to whomever I meet that has musculoskeletal problems including my family and friends. I recommend Prolotherapy whole heartedly and have been pleased with Dr. Kramer’s treatments!
