When Prolotherapy and Surgery Work Together Howie is a carpenter who tore his rotator cuff rather badly. He came to Dr. Kramer for Prolozone/prolotherapy treatments in hopes that would do the trick. However, in this particular case Dr. Kramer recommended surgery to fix the tear and Prolozone/prolotherapy as a pre-conditioning treatment to super-charge the recovery.
